Dedicated full truckload carrier on the highway

Full Truckload (FTL) Shipping Services

Semi-truck driving on the highway

When your freight fills a trailer, or can't afford extra stops, full truckload is the fastest and safest way to move it. 10-4 Global books a dedicated truck for your load, matched to your lane and equipment, with live tracking from pickup to delivery and one person to call the whole way.

Open-deck capacity for machinery, building materials and freight that loads from the side or top.

Team drivers and priority dispatch when the delivery date can't move.

Partial & Volume

Too big for LTL, not big enough for a full trailer: share the truck, skip the terminals.

Dedicated Capacity

Committed trucks on your recurring lanes.

Full truckload freight to and from Canada and Mexico, with customs paperwork coordinated before pickup.

Benefits of Full Truckload Shipping

Faster transit

Straight from pickup to delivery, no terminal stops or transfers.

Less handling, less damage

Your freight is loaded once and unloaded once.

Predictable schedules

Firm pickup and delivery appointments you can plan around.

Lower cost at volume

Once you're past roughly 10 pallets or 15,000 lbs, a full truck usually beats LTL per unit.

FTL or LTL: Which Do You Need?

As a rule of thumb, LTL fits 1 to 6 pallets. Volume LTL and partials cover roughly 6 to 12 pallets. Beyond that, or when freight is fragile, high-value or time-critical, full truckload usually wins. A standard 53' dry van holds 26 standard pallets single-stacked. Not sure? Send us the details and we'll price both.

Everything you need to know about dedicated truckload shipping.

FTL means one shipper's freight gets the whole trailer. The truck goes directly from pickup to delivery, which is faster and safer than sharing space.

LTL combines several shippers' freight and moves through terminals. FTL is dedicated: fewer touches, firmer appointments, faster transit.

A 53' dry van fits 26 standard pallets single-stacked. Legal weight limits typically allow roughly 42,000–45,000 lbs of freight, depending on the truck.
